Season 4, Episode 12: Spring Sneezes Bring May Wheezes

The Main Street Music Show went live in March and things got exactly as controlled as you’d expect, which is to say…not at all. We went back in the studio and recorded some of our favorite sketches from our live show.

This episode features a lineup of sketches that spiral beautifully from everyday annoyance into full-blown chaos. “Snack Day” kicks things off with a morning meltdown over missing socks that somehow escalates into a philosophical debate about youth sports, sugar dependency, and whether bananas are a personal attack. Spoiler: they are.

Then there’s the “Diabetes Bake Sale,” a perfectly reasonable small-town fundraiser where every department of a wellness clinic contributes the least medically advisable food imaginable. It’s a loving tribute to community events and the quiet understanding that “wellness” is more of a suggestion.

“The Elves” brings us into post-Christmas couples therapy at the North Pole, where taking down decorations becomes a multi-year commitment and “We’re elves” is treated as a legally binding excuse. Marriage is about compromise, unless you’re a leap year baby gaming the system.

And finally, the episode wraps with a date-night disaster in our ClearBreeze Allergy Relief commercial, where romance gets absolutely bulldozed by a sneeze that refuses to respect personal space, social norms, or basic physics. Nothing says love like airborne chaos.

It’s small-town life, turned up just enough to feel uncomfortably familiar. Live audience, big laughs, and at least one sneeze that deserved its own standing ovation.

Season 4, Episode 11: Springin’ and Singin’ Pt 1

Spring has officially arrived, and so has a brand new live episode of The Main Street Music Show.

In Part 1 of Springin’ and Singin’, we kick things off the only way we know how — with high-energy bluegrass, a few strong opinions, and absolutely no control over what happens next.

You’ll hear how the show got its start (spoiler: it involves jury duty and questionable decision-making), witness a man save the world through relentless arguing, and discover what happens when smart devices start acting like siblings.

Plus, we’ve got music from the band, a questionable restaurant that probably shouldn’t exist, and just enough chaos to make you glad you’re not in charge.

Featuring live performances, original sketches, and the kind of humor that feels right at home whether you’re in a theater or sitting on your front porch.

This is Part 1 of a 3-part live show — so settle in, turn it up, and welcome to Springin’ and Singin’.

Season 4, Episode 10: Love Is All Around

Love Is All Around kicks off with a woman realizing the gym has officially become a February ghost town (RIP New Year, we barely knew ye). Then we hear from the revolutionary BackDash App — the only food delivery service brave enough to do returns.

Agent Hoyt is forced into his worst nightmare: an undercover Valentine’s date… with his least favorite agent. We swing back by Pearl’s porch, where the hollerin’ is still loud and still free.

Dr. Victoria Frankenstein attempts to engineer the perfect Valentine’s man (because dating apps clearly weren’t unhinged enough). And finally, thanks to a writer’s strike, a gruff CEO of a Valentine’s card company takes matters — and the sentiments — into his own rough-around-the-edges hands.

Romance, regrets, and ridiculousness collide in this heart-filled February episode of The Main Street Music Show: Love Is All Around.

Season 4, Episode 9: Mostly Fine, Emotionally Complicated

This month on the Main Street Music Show, we unpack winter’s biggest lie: “Just wait, it’s coming.” From a weatherman who spends all week hyping a monster snowstorm only to ghost it completely, to a woman discovering that her beloved Hallmark Christmas town in February is just Greg from accounting with a scarf, this episode lives in the letdown. We sit on a bench with a husband revisiting memories his wife was never invited to, hear Punxsutawney Phil deliver an exhausted monologue about being dragged out of bed when Doppler radar exists, and ask the hard questions about expectations, nostalgia, and why we all keep falling for it. Plus, thanks to our sponsor Big Game Insurance, helping you cover the emotional and relational damage caused by things you said during the Super Bowl, this episode is fully protected against regret, awkward apologies, and “I didn’t mean it like that.”

Season 4, Episode 8: A Silent Night

From murderous office Secret Santas to an eco-obsessed Grinch, from hard-boiled detectives hunting a missing Nativity turkey to a Revolutionary War love triangle that absolutely should’ve stopped “reply-all,” this live episode delivers a sleigh-full of laughs, twists, and just enough holiday chaos to make your eggnog nervous.

Add in a legendary Appalachian tall tale involving Big Charlie, a runaway circus zebra, and a snowstorm that refuses to mind its own business and you’ve got a Christmas show that’s funny, weird, heartfelt, and delightfully unhinged.

Basically: if Hallmark, film noir, and your grandpa’s best story ever all collided on Main Street… this is what you’d hear.
